Home Improvement Loans? Do Southern Californians still have enough equity to even apply for these? According to the media, I am surprised we haven’t broken out into the soup line of a long ago Soviet Union. To granite or not to granite?

I myself have often wondered, with all the advertised benefits of Corian countertops, why would people knowingly choose beauty over function? Well part one to that question, is the fact that consumers with financial resources demand uniqueness, that Corian can rarely deliver when compared to granite and other natural stones. In a recent ask the realtor series, the question is put to rest by a professional.

Question: I saw an episode of Flip That House where the house in Thousand Oaks had Corian counters in the kitchen and the flippers didn’t think that looked like a million-dollar house, so they covered the Corian with granite tiles. Later, the real estate agent said (more…)
